TERMS OF SERVICE
The rules for using The Junkie Garage app and website.

1. Who we are
The Junkie Garage ("we", "us", "the garage") is a community-funded auto repair shop and the operator of this app and website. By creating an account, booking a service, or making a contribution, you agree to these terms. Questions? Send us a message through the contact page.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything done through your account. The information you give us (name, email, vehicle details) must be accurate, and you must be at least 18 years old to book services or make purchases. Accounts may be suspended if they're used to abuse the booking system, our staff, or other members.
3. Bookings and appointments
A booking is confirmed once payment is received. Slots are held in real time, and unpaid reservations are released automatically — a paid booking always secures your spot. Please arrive on time; after a 15-minute grace period we may mark the visit as a no-show and the slot may be offered to a waitlisted member. You can cancel or reschedule through the app up to your appointment time, and we'll work with you in good faith on anything unexpected.
4. Pricing and payment
Service prices are fixed and shown before you pay — no surprises at checkout. All payments, memberships, tips, donations, and raffle tickets are processed securely by Stripe; we never handle your card details. Membership subscriptions bill monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the app; cancellation stops future charges.
5. Memberships, points, and rewards
Membership points (1 point = $1 credit) are earned on paid services and contributions, and can be redeemed toward future bookings. Points have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for cash, and may be adjusted when a payment is refunded or a booking is cancelled. Membership benefits are per person and not shareable.
6. Raffle
Monthly raffle entries are purchased through the app, and each paid entry gets an equal chance at the draw. Winners are drawn and announced on the raffle page, and we'll contact the winner using the email on the winning ticket. Raffle purchases support the garage's community mission and are non-refundable. Void where prohibited by law.
7. Refunds
If we can't complete the work, the charge is refunded back to your original payment method through Stripe. Completed services, used memberships, and purchased raffle entries aren't refundable. If something went wrong with a visit, message us first — we'd rather make it right than argue about it.
8. Vehicles left at your risk
Our volunteers work on vehicles in good faith, but this is a community shop: vehicles, parts, and personal items left at the shop or worked on here are at the owner's risk, as covered in our Liability Waiver, which you accept when booking. We give our best effort on every job, but we can't guarantee a specific repair outcome on every vehicle.
9. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no scraping, no automated abuse of the booking or raffle systems, no impersonation, and no content in messages or story submissions that's abusive, defamatory, or illegal. We may remove content and restrict accounts that break these rules.
10. Content you submit
Stories and testimonials you submit may be published on the site (with the display name you choose) after we review them. You keep ownership of your words, but you give us permission to display them on this site and in our social channels.
11. Disclaimers
The app and its content are provided "as is". The information in our guides and symptom pages is general advice, not a diagnosis of your specific vehicle — only the work performed at an appointment covers your car. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, to the fullest extent the law allows.
12. Changes and governing terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top always shows the current version, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Related policies: Privacy Policy and Liability Waiver.
